Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy helps alleviate the soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions. If employed early enough after accidents involving trauma and injury, massage therapy can greatly reduce the development of painful muscular patterning. Massage therapy is governed under the Regulated Health Professionals Act, 1991 (RHPA). Massage Therapy is a hands-on therapeutic treatment that is used to help address injury, health conditions and improve general health & wellness.
Massage therapists work on soft tissue to treat and prevent dysfunction and pain, and to maintain, rehabilitate and improve physical function.

Naturopathic Medicine
A naturopath is a healthcare practitioner who specializes in a holistic approach to wellness and healing, emphasizing the body's innate ability to heal itself. Naturopathy is rooted in the belief that the body has the inherent ability to maintain and restore health, given the right conditions. Naturopaths employ a combination of natural therapies, lifestyle modifications, and dietary interventions to promote overall well-being and address various health concerns.
Naturopaths take into account the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of an individual when developing treatment plans. They often utilize a wide range of therapies, including herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, and lifestyle counseling, tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture, an ancient Chinese healing art, involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to alleviate pain and promote overall wellness. Rooted in the belief that energy flows through meridians, acupuncture aims to restore balance by stimulating these points. While its exact mechanisms are debated, modern research suggests acupuncture may trigger the release of endorphins, serotonin, and other neurotransmitters, offering pain relief and reducing inflammation. Widely used for various conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, and nausea, acupuncture is often integrated into holistic healthcare practices. Despite ongoing scientific inquiry, its effectiveness and potential benefits continue to intrigue both practitioners and patients worldwide.
Osteopathy
An osteopathic manual practitioner uses visual inspection looking for asymmetries as a starting point. They also use motion testing to determine where treatment
is needed. Ideally a person can move in all planes of motion, and reasonably equally in each direction.
The osteopathic manual practitioner searches for the cause of visual and motion asymmetries and aims
to correct these using osteopathic principles. Myofascial release as well as post isometric relaxation
could be used.
An osteopathic treatment lasts up to 30 minutes depending on the needs of the client. Please wear
comfortable clothing, pants are best. Osteopathy is covered by many extended health plans. A receipt
with billing number is provided.
Psychotherapy
